Senior Android Developer (remote)
Yokee Music, the creator of the world’s greatest music apps, is looking for an Android developer to join a team of musicians, techies, designers, engineers, and real-life rock stars who believe that everyone is inherently creative
This role includes writing Android apps: integrating them with various systems, designing new features with the Product Manager, supporting app upgrades, troubleshooting issues, developing user interfaces for end users, maintaining build gradle/scripts in CI/CD flows, attending daily Agile standups and other meetings remotely, performing and receiving Git code reviews, and more
Minimum Requirements
- Fully-remote work
- Fluent in English
- Task owner, autodidact, organized, team player, challenge-lover
- 5+ years in Android software engineering
- Experience with MVC, MVVM
- Computer Science / Software Engineering BSc degree
- Proven experience in development of high-scale consumer apps (social / gaming / video)
- Proven experience in Agile and related tools (Github / Gradle builds / test automation)
- Can write code from scratch as well as drill into existing code
Recommended Requirements
- 2+ years in Kotlin: UI, RESTful APIs
- Experience in Google Play submission process
- Experience in other fields like iOS (Swift/ObjC) and full stack (NodeJS, Python, AWS, GCP, React, JS)
- Experience in low-level code for Android (C++ libraries)
- Optimize code complexity based on well-known data structures and algorithms
